Here we inform the reader about the status of the most recent IAKH intiated study entitled "SCSCS" - Safety of cell  salvage in cancer surgery- A comparison of radiation versus leukocyte depletion:

From conception, funding, ethics committee and numbers of particpation centers, recruitment (number of investigated autologous units), and preliminary results as well as intended journal for publication.

Wir informieren Sie über den aktuellen Stand der aktuellen IAKH Studie Sicherheit der maschinellen Autotransfusion in der onkologischen Chirurgie SCSCS:

Von der Konzeption, Finanzierung, Ethikantrag und Anzahl der teilnehmenden Zentren, Rekrutierung (Anzahl der Untersuchten MAT-EKs pro Gruppe), vorläufige Ergebnisse und Ort der Publikation.

 

Aim of the Study:

Radiation with 50Gy or Leucocyte depletion filtration: Ex vivo comparison of the efficacy to remove cancer cells from the autologous product

Primary aims:

  1. Absolute number (n) of remaining vital cancer cells after elimination method
  2. Efficacy of the elimination method in% (prior to elimination method / after)
